**Responsibilities**
- Familiar in understanding the ship’s electrical drawings, manuals and test instruments.
- Familiar in commissioning and troubleshooting of BWTS & Scrubber equipment’s.
- Familiar in Calibration (Gas sampling systems, Portable gas instrument, Fixed gas detection system, Gauges, Pressure transmitter, Temperature sensor).
- Fault finding and servicing Engine room (EI&A) equipment’s including, but not restricted to Boiler, Purifier’s, Generator safety system, M/E safety system, ODME & OWS system, Main engine maneuvering controls & system, Alarm system, MSB synchronizing and load sharing, Variable frequency drive (VFD), Electronic meters, ICCP System, MGPS system, Valve monitoring system, Engine room console control system, Steering gear system, Firefighting system, Deck & engine room cranes, Windlass system, etc...
- Fault finding and servicing of Bridge and Navigation (EI&A) equipment’s including, but not restricted to Radar equipment, Autopilot system, Echo sounder, GPS system, Water ingress system, Navigation lighting system, Anti heeling system, Gyro system, Etc.
- Maintenance of the vessels electrical and electronic systems including, but not restricted to alternators/generators, motors, wiring, switchboards, lighting systems, electronic equipment, communication and navigation equipment.

**Qualifications**
- 6+ years’ electrical engineering experience
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / E & I / Marine (or) equivalent degree.
- Able to problem solve and troubleshoot as the need arises.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
