Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Water Treatment industry. They are looking for a Regional Procurement Manager to assist their Procurement team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in South - easily accessible. This Regional Procurement Manager would be responsible for:

- Responsible in performing as owner of KPI for cost saving target and on time delivery
- Responsible in advising on alternative equipment, parts and materials.
- Responsible in analysing financial implications of business strategies to the department.
- Responsible in analysing viability of workplace improvements and change management initiatives.
- Responsible in developing formal bidding processes to facilitate vendor management.
- Responsible in developing vendor selection and evaluation workflow and criteria.
- Responsible in driving procurement capabilities building initiatives.
- Responsible in exploring potential collaborations with new vendors.
- Responsible in formulating procurement policies and workflows.
- Responsible in formulating sourcing strategies to support organisation's projects.
- Responsible in keeping abreast of market trends and developments and modify sourcing strategies.
- Responsible in managing department's compliance to risk management frameworks policies and processes.
- Responsible in managing long-term vendor contracts pertaining to complex or high-value products and services to foster strategic partnerships.
- Responsible in mentoring a team of procurement executives.
- Responsible in overseeing implementation of procurement improvement initiatives.
- Responsible in overseeing procurement budget and key performance indicators.
- Responsible in participating in negotiations with relevant key internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible in reviewing vendor evaluations and recommendation reports.
- Responsible in verifying components ensure adherence to technical specifications and quality upon delivery.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION
- Minimum degree in engineering, procurement or supply chain management or relevant studies
- Minimum 10 - 15 years related to procurement function in water treatment, Petrochemical/ Chemical; Marine or Offshore Industries is a bonus
- Prior experience with procurement system e.g. SAP experience is a bonus
