Receptionist - Marine Terrace

**Job Scope Summary**:
Reception Duties:
1. Maintaining Reception Area: Keeping the area safe, clean, and organized.
2. Greeting Visitors: Welcoming and directing visitors, notifying school staff of arrivals.
3. Answering Inquiries: Responding to visitor inquiries or referring them to relevant staff.
Student Support:
1. Assisting Unwell/Injured Students: Providing care and alerting teachers to contact parents when necessary.
Administrative Tasks:
1. Telecommunication: Operating the telecommunication system according to MOE guidelines.
2. Data Collation and Filing: Collecting and organizing data, filing documents.
3. Notice Board Updates: Keeping the General Office notice boards up-to-date.
Office Management:
1. Teacher In-Trays: Ensuring teachers clear their in-trays daily.
2. Donated Uniforms: Managing and organizing donated school uniforms.
3. Communication: Documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and needs to support continuity.
Support Tasks:
1. Contractor Management: Assisting in managing contractors' work orders.
2. Coach/Instructor Sign-in/Sign-out: Supporting the sign-in and sign-out process.
3. Admin Support: Assisting with basic admin work during off-peak periods.
4. Housekeeping: Maintaining the cleanliness of the admin office and stores.
5. Ad-hoc Tasks: Performing tasks as assigned by the Principal, Vice-Principals, Administration Manager, and Operations Managers.
**Job Requirements Summary**:
Qualifications:
1. GCE 'O' Level Certificate: Minimum 4 passes, including English, or equivalent.
**Skills**:1. Language Skills: Ability to communicate and write in both English and Chinese.
2. MS Office Proficiency: Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
3. Interpersonal Skills: Pleasant demeanor, good customer service, and teamwork.
**Experience**:
1. Reception Experience: Preferably 2 years of experience in reception work.
2. MOE School Environment: Experience working in a MOE school environment is an advantage.
