Corporate Finace Mgr with Real Estate Firm

**Manager/Senior Manager, Corporate Finance with a SGX listed real estate group**
- **Minimum 7 years corporate finance experience with Big 4 firms, international corporates, management consultancy or investment banking**
- **Has the relevant experience covering strategy, planning and reporting and M&A/JVs.**
- **Must have multiple full-cycle transaction experience, and be able to demonstrate involvement in such transactions**

Our client is a SGX listed group which is well established in the real estate industry. Its global HQ is in Singapore and the office is based in town.

For this role as the Manager/Senior Manager, Corporate Finance, you will do the following functions:
**Responsibilities**:

- Strategy, Planning and Reporting (40%) -**Must have**
- Formulate and implement group strategy and strategic planning for next 5-10 years based on rigorous industry analysis (existing and new), SWOT, growth opportunities and financial returns, taking into consideration views from existing Business Unit (“BU”) leadership and board of directors
- Track the latest developments, regulations, growth initiatives and transactions in the relevant industries and coordinate learning across BUs
- Project manager for monthly and quarterly management meetings and reporting, including overall responsibility for driving group performance
- Lead budgetary coordination and preparation process across the group and ensure budgets are approved within agreed deadlines
- M&As and JVs (30%) **Highly preferred**
- Originate and execute M&A or JVs, including term sheet drafting and negotiations, coordinating with external advisors to perform due diligence and present findings and impact with respect to the transaction, financial modelling, deal structuring, documentation and negotiations, funding, settlement and closing
- Coordinate with both internal and external parties to evaluate both brownfield and greenfield projects, taking into account synergies with existing businesses, growth initiatives consistent with agreed group strategy, development, operational and financial aspects
- Banking and Treasury (30%) **- prior experience in this area is not required as the co is willing to train on this aspect**
- Establish relationships with new banks to the group and further deepen existing relationships, coordinate KYC/onboarding by the banks, update banks on group performance and strategy, and discuss cross-selling opportunities to strengthen banking relationships
- Lead capital markets transactions for the group, including bonds and equity offerings
- Prepare funding targets, with breakdowns by sources of funds, banks, projects/transactions and timeline, and track performance against targets
Requirements - Skills and qualifications:

- Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, and masters would be advantageous
- **Minimum 7 years corporate finance experience with Big 4 firms, international corporates, management consultancy or investment banking**
- **Has the relevant experience covering strategy, planning and reporting and M&A/JVs.**
- **Must have multiple full-cycle transaction experience, and be able to demonstrate involvement in such transactions**
- Deep familiarity with SGX takeover and listing rules would be preferred
- Outstanding financial modelling skills, comparable analysis, benchmarking and other analytical tools, including DCF, IRR, payback analysis
- Strong attention to detail but at the same time thinks strategically
- Display sound judgement, especially dealing with complex matters
- Passionate about learning, open minded and willing to quickly pick-up new skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication, including preparation of presentation materials
- Results-oriented and problem-solving attitude as well as strong organizational skills and hands-on mentality
- Team player - ability to work with a large dynamic and diverse environment
- Dynamic, pro-active, resilient, resourceful, creative and operate with the highest level of integrity and professionalism
