**Department Overview**:
Non-linear Trading & Structuring is an integrated global client driven business with the mandate to trade non-linear and combination products in Rates, Credit, and FX and brings value to external clients including Financial Institutions and Corporates through working with internal stakeholders with sector specific expertise as well as compliance, risk, finance and legal functions.

The team works closely with the other Financial Markets Trading and Origination Desks, Sales, Solutions and Distribution Teams to deliver any less standardised client solutions and efficiently reflect, negotiate and manage the risk parameters associated with the business through dynamic hedging with market participants. The team also collaborates actively with the Quantitative Development team in IT / Front-Office system developments to improve operational efficiency through digitalisation and deep-dives into the development of new products revolving around derivatives, securities, loans and special purpose vehicles via a structured approval process.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role**:

- Based in Singapore and reporting to the Trading Desk Head where clear and transparent communication is essential for all external and internal stakeholders
- Actively originate trade ideas and targeted solutions to clients jointly with Sales, Solutions and Distribution teams under all market conditions and provide pricing on solution proposals and client requests to customers promptly and with precision
- Prepare material and execute commercial pitches on various bespoke and structured solutions jointly with other teams
- Identify business opportunities through keeping abreast of themes under all market conditions and be in constant dialogue with external market participants in formulating a dynamic forward view
- Best execution of trades encompassing thorough reviews of legal trade documentations with an inquisitive and curious eye with attention to detail
- Manage the risk positions on the desk on a day-to-day basis and strictly adhere to internal limits and requirements
- Work closely and build relationships with Sales, Solutions, Distribution teams and Compliance, Risk, Legal and Finance with the aim of increasing client business
- Active involvement in IT / Front-Office system developments to achieve operational efficiency, standardization and automation
- Contribute to development of new products in a prioritized manner and work closely with relevant stakeholders in the Front-Office Quants, Developers and Risk teams
- Be cognizant of regulatory developments and, together with FM Regulatory / Legal teams as well as with Business Management, interpret and understand the possible impact to existing and new business opportunities

**Qualification/Education**

University degree in Finance and/or Finance-related domains

**Experience/Knowledge/Competencies**
- Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written
- High levels of self-motivation and energy with a result-oriented approach
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently with a strive for excellence
- Sound analytical and technical approach with a keen eye for detail
- Collaborative and a strong team player
- Think out of the box with an ability to map, connect and communicate ideas effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to connect and build meaningful relationships
- Good working knowledge of financial markets, trading systems, market data analysis
- 1-3 years of working experience in a relevant field in Finance is an added advantage
- Multi-lingual - verbal and written fluency in another language is desirable
