**Role Purpose**:
The Operations PMO (APAC) is responsible for running and monitoring operational change programs for the region - focused towards improving productivity, operational efficiency and ease of doing business for Chubb’s customers and business partners. Delivery through leveraging process re-engineering, process automation/robotics, digitization, offshoring, through both regional resources and in-country equivalent teams.

This role also includes coordinating the reporting, governance and benefits tracking/realization of the operational change program across the region. It is a key supporting hand to the Head of Operations Transformation (APAC) and drives all the administrative needs of the project office. Where necessary, the individual is expected to deputize for governance activities and take a proactive / challenge role around project plans and progress.

This is a hands on position which will involve seeking business case approval, tracking financials (benefits more so than costs), and reporting to a wide range of key global stakeholders on progress, risks/issues and benefits plans/realization - to ensure targets are met. With an operational focus of improving productivity and customer experience, projects tend to leverage target operating model change, process automation/robotics, process re-engineering, digitization, and offshoring. As well as strong but pragmatic PMO skills, clear elevator pitch communication style and excellent financial literacy are essential. The aim is to drive pragmatic oversight rigor around what is being done, how things are progressing, where are issues are, and where the program benefits are coming from (what/when/how).

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Program & Change Leadership (30% focus)

Establish / lead effective regional & country governance to deliver/track global, regional and local strategic change initiatives from business case, resource, planning, execution and benefit realization.

Work with global, regional & local key stakeholders across different functions & divisions to build engagement in defining programs’ scope of work, prioritization and delivering optimized results of the program benefits.

Lead & oversee regional and local program/project planning, budgeting, resourcing, and other project financials.

Track and report progress against plans to key stakeholders and drive benefits realisation.

Manage, mitigate and escalate issues, as well as dependencies and risks.

Lead a common governance process to feed regional/global management needs.

2. Program Management & Reporting (30% focus)

Provide full PMO support to regional program leadership.

Report against business cases and benefits delivery inc. but not limited to:
Setting up work plans and leading regular checks on time / cost / quality.

Administering central tracking mechanisms to update programme status etc.

Manage the provision of high quality, accurate, timely data to the program and business - such as costs, benefits and progress against plans, and deputize where necessary.

Help ensure the programme is appropriately resourced and focused.

Work with others to report on the enterprise view of activities and benefits.

Develop the program view / project schedule / milestone and provide challenge to ensure the roadmap makes sense. Hold the single view for APAC.

Take on the difficult issues, acting as a highly visible spokesperson for what must be done, and accepting public accountability for results.

Facilitate the resolution of issues to ensure outcomes / objectives are not compromised.

Unearth opportunities for improvement and recommend how to improve quality, cost and/or on-time delivery.

Manage issues and risk of program/projects and/or escalating where appropriate.

Monitors Change control and manages the Change process.

Supports on the coordination and delivery of other periodic Ops reporting needs as required, likely working closely with Ops & IT PMO colleagues.

3. Benefit Tracking & Realisation (30% focus)

Track the delivery of the programme (plans, issues and risks, identifying resolution), provide analysis and qualitative commentary on financial data, plus hold owners accountable and escalate where necessary.

Help with the identification, agreement and realisation of benefits as per the signed-off plans - to ensure targets are met.

Lead, orchestrate and motivate others in the delivery of benefit realisation.

4. Governance (10% focus)

Coordinate/organize all regional project governance forums and processes.

Organize timely input and sign-off from all relevant stakeholders.

Provide convenient and value add insights to business and channel owners to support timely and accurate decision making.

Deliver executive level presentations and storytelling as required.

Prepare materials for regular program/project team meetings and chair
