[What the role is]
As a Functional Head in ITE, you are part of the team to formulate, review and implement policies and schemes and administer student systems in specific functional areas.
[What you will be working on]
- Working closely with Internal stakeholders (including but not limited to curriculum, admissions, student services, finance and exams and ITE Affiliated Schools) to ensure operational enrolment of students to the correct sub-processes in iStudent System before, during and after term start. This will entail different processes for students in ongoing academic structures and students in the new Higher Nitec academic structures
- Working closely with relevant IT units and internal stakeholders to extract, transform and verify key student data for adhoc and regular transfers to MOE, other Ministries and Statutory Boards on timely basis
- Carrying out regular reviews of Access Controls to iStudent Systems (including but not limited identifying user security risk, access roles changes to mitigate risks and purging of students Wed IDs) to maintain system integrity
- Staying updated on best practices, emerging trends and technologies.
- Working in teams to support ITE’s initiatives as well as other ad hoc Department projects
[What we are looking for]
- Possess at least 3 years work experience with strong background in operations, process management, and IT/data analysis skills e.g. Microsoft Office and SQL databases.
- Experience in UAT testing and quality assurance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Motivated, results and detail-oriented, with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work well independently and in teams.
