This role works closely with product designer, product manager, mobile, and quality engineering team to collaboratively produce awesome user experience. Experience in high availability distributed systems is essential, this role will design and develop the system that serves million customers every day. **What You Will Do** - Develop and maintain highly available, scalable, secure and cost-efficient backend systems - Design micro-services based systems and architectures that work at scale - Write modular, testable, and reusable code and create extensible APIs with rigorous documentation - Formulate scalable and durable technical solutions that address our product requirements - Occasionally work on front-end code with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript if necessaryMentor junior teammates to help them grow and develop their skills **Basic Qualifications** - Expertise in one or more of the following programming languages: Golang, Java, JavaScript, Node.js - Proficiency working with modern hyper-scale cloud computing solutions such as AWS or GCP - Ability to work in an agile environment at scaleIndependent and self-driven **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience in streaming media from an engineering perspective - Ability to work with iOS and Android developers to properly integrate and troubleshoot issues with mobile app to API integration - Startup mindset and experience in startup companies - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
