Posted on : 21 Nov 2024, Location : Yishun **Job Description**: Plan and implement curriculum and programmes - Plan, implement and review routine caregiving approach and lesson experiences aligned with curricula framework. - Create developmentally appropriate materials and resources to enhance quality learning environments. - Observe and document children's learning and development. - Implement strategies to build respectful, responsive and reciprocal relationships with infants and toddlers. - and review health, safety, nutritional and hygiene practices in accordance with standards and procedures. Conduct routine caregiving - Conduct routine caregiving assessment. - Provide routine caregiving practices in accordance with standards and procedures. - Identify areas for improvements for routine caregiving Build stakeholder relationships and partnerships - Establish relationships with families to facilitate the continuity of care and learning between home and Centre. Uplift professional practice - Promote Centre's vision, mission and values by demonstrate behaviour that is aligned with them. - Implement appropriate teaching and caregiving methods based on emerging sector trends, technologies and tools. - Identify areas for improvement to enhance work performance. - Propose improvements to professional development and service quality improvement activities. - Develop new teaching and caregiving approaches based on observations. Technical skills, soft skills - Good behaviour management and classroom management skills. - Familiar with Early Years Development Framework (EYDF) and Singapore Preschool Accreditation Framework (SPARK). - Good interpersonal skills. - Effective communication skills. - Integrity and positive attitude. - Able to work independently. - Adaptability to change. - Proficient in Microsoft 365. Qualifications and Experience - Minimum a Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) or Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY). - ECDA-certified EY1 or EY2 preschool educator is preferred. - Minimum 1 years teaching experience in early childhood setting is preferred. - Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
