Our studio is currently looking for a **Senior Casual Game Designer **to join our multi-talented team. You will be responsible for overseeing the conceptualization, design, and development of casual mobile games. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams, including artists, programmers, and producer, to create engaging and enjoyable gaming experiences for a broad audience. Your role will involve designing game mechanics, levels, and features that align with the target demographic and contribute to the overall success of the games.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Game Design**:

- Lead the design process from concept to completion, ensuring that game mechanics, features, and systems are innovative, fun, and engaging.
- Document detailed game design documents, including gameplay mechanics, level design, and progression systems.

**Market Research**:

- Stay informed about current gaming trends, player preferences, and market dynamics to incorporate relevant elements into game design.
- Analyse player feedback and data to iterate on game designs for continuous improvement.

**User Experience (UX) Design**:

- Focus on creating a seamless and enjoyable user experience, considering player onboarding, retention, and monetization aspects.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure a visually appealing and intuitive interface.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Work closely with QA teams to identify and address bugs, usability issues, and other areas of improvement.
- Participate in playtesting sessions and provide constructive feedback to enhance overall game quality.

**Monetization Strategies**:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate effective in-game monetization strategies that align with player experience and business goals.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.

**Experience**:

- 5+ years of experience in game design, with a focus on casual games.
- Proven track record of successful game releases, preferably in the casual gaming space.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in game design tools and software.
- Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of Excel
- Strong understanding of casual game mechanics, player behaviour, and market trends.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and come up with innovative game concepts and designs.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.

**Bonus**:

- Experience in Unity
- Experience using visual design tools, such as Figma, Adobe XD etc.
- Prior experience in live operations
