Chemistry Technician

At Achievers Dream Learning Centre, we’ve been at the forefront of Chemistry education since 2013, specialising in Science and Chemistry tuition. With our state-of-the-art Chemistry Practical Lab and the innovative 360° Total Chemistry Learning System, we prepare students not just for exams but for success.

We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Lab Technician to oversee the smooth operations of our lab, ensuring it remains a safe, efficient, and inspiring space for learning.

**About the Role**:
As a Lab Technician, you will be the backbone of our practical lessons, supporting teachers and students by ensuring that all lab materials, equipment, and processes are well-prepared and maintained. This role requires a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and commitment to safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare materials and equipment for Chemistry lessons and practicals.
- Maintain the lab and preparation rooms, ensuring they are clean, organised, and well-stocked.
- Assist teaching staff by setting up demonstrations, preparing solutions, and conducting safety checks.
- Safely handle and store chemicals and apparatus, and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on lab equipment as required.
- Conduct experiments to obtain results for teachers when necessary.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A Diploma in a relevant discipline with at least 1-2 years of lab experience.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- An understanding of lab safety protocols and a proactive approach to maintaining them.
- A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to our working hours: Monday to Friday, 1 PM - 9 PM.
