**As a Engineering Assistant (Biomedical), you will be responsible for the following duties**:

- Provide technical support to hospital staff throughout the lifecycle of medical equipment, including commissioning, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Supervise specialist vendors and appointed contractors in the maintenance of medical equipment, ensuring work quality and compliance with required standards.
- Regularly engage with users to gather feedback and provide updates on equipment maintenance, performance, reliability, and quality.
- Investigate equipment faults, complaints, and potential hazards; support BME engineers in analyzing issues and implementing corrective action plans.
- Ensure all work adheres to hospital standards, departmental protocols, and ongoing quality initiatives.
- Manage frontline technical support inventory and assist the stock supervisor with documentation and inventory control.
- Support BME engineers in coordinating medical equipment services and project activities with vendors, contractors, and consultants.
- Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by BME engineers.

**Job Requirement**:

- Preferably a Diploma in Electronics / Biomedical Engineering.
- Certificate in Electronics / Electromechanical / Mechatronics Engineering\Practical experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a healthcare setting preferred
