**Private Equity (PE)**
GIC has one of the largest and most diverse private equity portfolios globally, with an extensive network of over 100 active relationships with global fund managers, and direct investments in more than 1,000 companies worldwide. Our investments span across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, covering a diverse range of sectors, including Technology, Healthcare, Financial services, Business Services, Consumer, Industrials, and Sustainable Energy. GIC PE also invests across the capital structure, including equity, senior and junior debt, as well as in secondary PE deals, restructuring, opportunistic credit, and special situations.
**Secondaries**
- The Secondaries strategy aims to invest with leading private equity secondary sponsors and participate in a wide array of secondary deals involving the acquisition of private equity fund stakes and GP-led transactions. The Secondaries team also supports the management of the Funds and Co-Investments portfolio through the analysis, purchase, and sale of assets through the secondary market.
**What would you do as an Analyst/Associate?**
- Build Excel-based models to value operating companies, funds, portfolios, and structured transactions
- Support the preparation of deal memos and assist in presenting to the Investment Committee
- Represent GIC in engagements with private equity managers, company management teams, counterparties, and intermediaries during due diligence and ongoing monitoring
- Coordinate with other strategy groups (Funds, Direct Investments, Venture, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Public Markets) to evaluate and execute secondaries investment opportunities
- Assist in the deal closing process, collaborating with internal and external legal counsel, as well as back and middle office teams
- Interest in building a career in private equity secondaries
- 1 to 2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related field
- Strong academic credentials and a track record of high performance
- Good understanding of corporate finance and proficiency in financial modelling
- Demonstrated maturity, professional presence, organizational skills, and strong verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in business level Chinese is advantageous as this role will involve working on Chinese deals
