**OVERALL OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE**

Managing the entire Finance & accounts function of Singapore, in full coordination & supervision of the CFO

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Accounting**:Knowledge of accounting rules, regulations. Clear understanding of accounting processes.
- Day to day Accounting ( Journal, Ledger and Trial Balance)
- Financial statements ( Balance sheet, Income statement and Cash flow Statement)
- Knowledge of IFRS ( International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Full set of Book Keeping and Record Keeping
- Local statutory compliance
- Annual Closing process and actual reporting
- Annual Statutory Audit and Interim Audit and Internal Audit
- Capital and fixed assets controls
- Cost categorization and treatment
- Annual Budget Preparation and Budgetary control
- Payroll processing
- Bank Book and Cash Book Maintenance
- Payments and Receipts Management

**Taxation**:To ensure compliance of statutory requirements relating to entire gamut of GST( Goods and Services Tax) ,Income Tax, Corporate Tax and other Levies, Duties and Cesses.
- To handle litigations /Disputes pertaining to GST, Income Taxes and Corporate Taxes
- To constantly improve operating efficiencies and make Tax best in class
- Strategic direct tax management availing eligible tax benefits and mitigating tax risks
- To advise for withholding tax applicable with reference to foreign remittances and all related compliance requirements
- To constantly improve operating efficiencies and make Tax best in class

**Financial Systems**:Knowledge of key financial systems, relationships between systems and underlying process flows supporting systems, at HQ & subsidiary levels. Includes knowledge of functional systems. Also includes sound project management skills related to system implementation
