The Manufacturing Technology Senior Engineer is responsible for deploying advanced manufacturing technology to equip our brand-new manufacturing plant, developing latest technology for advanced filter production capacity expansion and manufacturing quality improvement.
This position reports to Manufacturing Technology Manager and will be located at Tuas, Singapore.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Understand Pall filters product and manufacturing process to provide manufacturing equipment expertise level technical support for our new cleanroom production start up.- Prepare equipment specifications, drawings, sketches of machinery / equipment including tooling and standard work documents using AutoCAD software.- Subject matter expert of assigned equipment groups, work with sister plant engineers, in charge of new equipment development projects, follow through with vendors from design review, machine build delivery progress, installation and qualification till production hand over.- Develop and deploy equipment and process technology for capacity expansion, new product development, cost reduction and Overall equipment efficiency improvement.- Provide training to production team, develop equipment standard operating documents, ensure proper and safe operation of the manufacturing equipment.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or electronics engineering etc.- Minimum 3-5 years working in manufacturing production environment.- Must able setup, operate and improve precision machinery, automatic production equipment and process.- Prior project experience delivering result within tight project timeline.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Machinery tooling design and fabrication.- Plastic welding process equipment.
