**A Sous Chef reports directly to the CDC**

The Sous Chef is responsible for planning, directing, controlling, coordinating and participating in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. He or she is accountable for the production of all food products required by the entity. Ensures that the products are of the highest quality or surpassed at all times.

**What you’ll do**:

- Lead and guide junior chefs and kitchen assistants during production and service.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all menus.
- Oversee mise en place, stock control, and ordering for large-scale events.
- Support menu planning and seasonal menu rollouts.
- Improve and restructure kitchen processes and SOP as needed to suit evolving business

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience as a CDP or Sous Chef in catering or high-volume production.
- Strong knowledge of buffet setups and banquet-style service. Ability to lead a team and work well under pressure.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about food presentation and quality.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $3,600.00 - $4,000.00 per month
