Sephora UX is part of a regional team based in Singapore. We are responsible for delivering digital experience across 8 markets in South East Asia, through our web and app platforms.
As a UX Senior (Assistant Manager), you will play an important role in bringing User perspective to the table, across multiple squads, and set the design direction for the experience of a customer who will be engaging with our product. This could be in the area of assisting our customers’ purchase decision through the introduction of 3rd party tools, or displaying relevant promotions during our customers’ online shopping journey.
This is a mid-level role that requires team management experience, as you will be required to guide junior UX designers within your team.

Team Contribution
- Work closely with the regional Head of UX to deliver UX team KPIs & objectives.
- Function as a UX Squad Lead
- Work closely with Product Managers and take ownership of multiple Squad objectives & KPIs.
- Ensuring quality of work leaving the squad, resource deployments and project delivery.
- Mentor & guide junior UX designers within squads.
- Actively contribute to the squad roadmap creation & prioritization process.
- Drive key strategic pillars within the UX team that upscales UX team capabilities in the areas of Design, Research or Workshopping.

Individual Contribution
- Be part of an agile team and work closely with Product Managers and different stakeholders to create experiences that drive impact to business and user experience.
- Involved in the product design process, from problem definition to detailed visual design.
- Design end-to-end flow and experiences that are simple and elegant.
- Communicate design solutions through wireframes, user flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
- Facilitate ideation workshops bringing together multi-disciplinary teams to ideate innovative solutions.
- Validate and support solutions through User Research & Testing.
- Deliver final high-fidelity design solutions with solid rationale.
- Work closely with Engineers and Developers to ensure Tech feasibility of solutions.

**We would love to hear from you if you have**
- At least 5 years of experience in related UX areas.
- Experience designing digital solutions across Web & App.
- Prior experience in the eCommerce space or related industry is a plus.
- Preferred experience in team management role
- Related education in UX or a UX conversion course is a must.
- A good sense of design with a strong portfolio showcasing your best work.
- A good understanding of research methodology & processes.
- Experience in working collaboratively with product management, engineering, design and business teams
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch & InVision
- Able to work independently and thrive in a complex uncertain environment.
- Possess strong critical thinking skills: analysis, interpretation, inference, explanation, self-regulation, open-mindedness, and problem-solving.
