The APJ Subscription Manager will be an individual contributor on a high performing team and mainly responsible for monitoring, qualifying, negotiating and closing subscription growth deals with existing Customers in the Asia Pacific Japan region.
This role will be cross-functional working closely with Deal Management, Renewals, Sales, Customer Success, and Teams across Europe and North America. Success in the role requires a team player approach, ability to independently work across organisations with disparate needs, creativity and original thinking to proactively identify new and different approaches to analysing Customer needs and data, and to synthesise multiple information sources to ensure success for both Clients and Workday.
**About the Role**
**Key Areas of Responsibility**:
- Responsible for qualifying, negotiating and closing subscriptions opportunities and related reporting process in a timely manner
- Proactively monitor and reach out to Customer base to generate opportunities related to the ongoing subscription agreements
- Perform and execute regular reviews to identify trends and uncover useful insights with regards to subscription licensing
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and Customers to ensure issues are resolved timely, while being cognisant of overall Customer relationship and satisfaction
- Provide Customers guidance and expertise that contributes to adherence with Workday's subscription agreements
- Prepare monthly reports outlining subscription KPIs
**About You**
Minimum qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Experience with business sales development and managing forecasts
- Ability to model and analyse large amount of data to provide insightful analysis and drive sales strategy accordingly
- 2 years’ experience working within a SaaS environment in sales or operations
- Relevant experience influencing C level Executives
- Ability to understand, interpret, explain Customer agreements terms and conditions
- Proactive, creative, independent, and results oriented
- Ability to work across APJ business cultures and time zones
Other qualifications
- Knowledge of Korean or Japanese languages would be a plus
- Experience in subscription business models is a plus
