Logistics Technician

The Technician is primarily responsible for the liaising with DSV’s customers and coordinating with the operation team, identifying customers issues and challenges, feeding these information’s to the operation team and assisting them in achieving the service level.
- Housekeeping and maintain smooth warehouse operations & handle cargo movement
- Respond to customer's enquiries in a timely manner with effective communication skill
- Support management to meet operational targets and is responsible for various reporting for management review
- Monitor subcontractor performance and develop improvement plan for rectification of performance
- Ensure contracted suppliers comply with company quality procedures
- To monitor the service quality and asset utilization of the warehouse
- To evaluate and review the existing procedure & warehouse operation
- Electronic devices handling and deployment, inventory handling for inbound / outbound / RMA, inventory management, cycle count, etc.
- Other duties as required and assigned

**To be successful in this role you will require the following**:

- Min. Diploma in Logistics, Information Technology, Supply chain a plus.
- Good communication skill in both writing and verbal. Expected to communicate with various parties within the region as the role is also support other countries within the region.
- Flexible and open mind to learn new things
- Quick learner for Customer operating system (training will be given)
- Proficiency in PC/MAC operations including MS office and system software
- Good interpersonal, communication skills, negotiation skills and customer oriented, able to work independently and under pressure
- Experience in using Warehouse Management System is an advantage
- Data sensitive, quick learner, highly self-motivated, stick to deadline, good working attitude and a team player
- Result driven with strong monitoring and follow up skill
