**What you’ll do**:
Searching, analyzing and qualifying of new business opportunities and identifying potential products with Japan’s Carbon Market
- Monitors market trends, positions, fluctuations in search for new business opportunities within the own area of expertise.
- Research and review legislation to understand the requirements of the environmental product
- Gather market data, and analyze policy information to identify industrial trends
- Picks up leads and innovative ideas and suggestions from traders or generates new ideas on own initiative
- Develop strategic insights and developmental pathway for new markets and products
- Cooperates intensively with the other departments to build and optimize the value of the trade model.
- Performs a pre analysis, qualifies ideas and proposes a business case.
- Attending conferences and exhibitions to keep on track with the latest policy development
- Transformation of ideas into concrete trade products and new business opportunities within Japan’s environmental market
- Leads product development.
- Translates the idea to a concrete product and aligned to the organization, resources, processes and policies.
**Who you are**:
- 2-5years’ professional experience in the field of energy, environment and/or policy
- Bachelor’s/ Master's graduate, preferably in Energy and Sustainability;
- Excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills;
- Well-connected networks and on top of the industry trends and policies;
- Energetic, curious and ambitious; a self-starter
- Speak fluent Japanese as this role is focused on the Japanese market;
