Identify and evaluate the workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and recommend control measures for all work equipment and operations.
- Implementation and maintenance of WSH documentation as per customers’ expectations; and meeting the company’s Quality & OSH management System (ISO 9001 & ISO 45001).
- Attend WSH Committee meetings, and other related meetings, regular safety inspections of the work sites and ensure all mandatory WSH requirements by clients are in full compliance.
- Conduct safety orientations to all new workers (including sub-con workers, or contracted workers) at the jobs’ sites when required or requested. Facilitate, drive, and conduct daily toolbox meeting (TBM), coordinate and ensure all relevant PTW (Permit-to-Work); and it’s supporting documents are completed and approved; before jobs are allowed to commence; submit all related checklists as per clients’ requests.
- Conduct routine WSH inspection, lookout for any unsafe behaviour, work condition or equipment; be proactive on WSH and Environmental Protection matters. Ensure all workers (ALL who are present at respective customers’ jobsites or at company designated locations), are doing the tasks according to Safe Work Procedures, approved MS-RA documents. Timely intervene and issue STOP work instructions when situation requires.
- Ensure a clean, tidy, and healthy work environment, and always maintains good housekeeping; do not accept the closure of PTW if the housekeeping was not properly completed.
- Work with other EHS competence persons, to develop, review, update and implementation of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures conforming to WSH regulation; provide timely coaching and support to fellow WSH staffs and co-workers.
- Investigate and report all accidents/dangerous occurrences with corrective actions (both CA & PA), on safety lapse/s to ensure improvements and compliance with legal regulations and WSH requirements.
- Participate in internal and external WSH related audits to sustain the applicable ISO certifications & local WSH accreditations (e.g., biz-SAFE certification) when applicable;
- Maintain compliance with SCDF Fire Safety Act and ensure all the fire risks are eliminated to maintain SCDF Fire Certificate & other licenses when applicable. He/she should provide strong support to the appointed Fire Safety committee, and EHS committee of the company; Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by direct supervisor and / or site leadership team members.

**Qualification and Requirements**:

- At least a Professional Certificate/NITEC/Diploma in related Engineering fields (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
- Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level-B) by accredited training centre
- Relevant WSQ certificates in Workplace Safety & Health (e.g., Work at Height safety assessor, lifting supervisor, Building & Construction Safety Supervisor)
- Minimum 3 year of relevant work experience preferred, preferably in Electrical Systems related construction, production or in semi-conductors manufacturing industry
- Good team player with good communication and strong people’s skills
- MS Office skills related to MS-RA review, preparation and reports writing
- Possess own transport (will be advantageous), as requirement to travel between the jobsites, substations or factories assigned to, and as per clients’ requirements.
