Assistant Director, Academic

Reporting to Director, Academic, this incumbent will assist PaCE’s Director (Academic) to ensure quality assurance in all NTU’s CE courses and programmes.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with Director (Academic) in providing constructive critique and advice to CE course/programme proposers in various aspects (e.g., relevance of content, appropriate course titles, clear synopses, etc.)
- Analyse and interpret data from CE learners’ feedback for refinements in CE course delivery
- Assist Director (Academic) in monitoring quality of course delivery on the various online platforms that NTU uses for CE courses
- Work with Director (Academic) to curate multidisciplinary micro-credentials by working closely with School CE Associate Chairs to foster collaborations and partnerships, with mínimal overlaps in programme offerings
- Assist the Director (Academic)
- in working with NTU’s resource pool (existing faculty, faculty who have retired, as well as research staff members) to curate sustainable, interesting, and niche CE courses
- to execute the Industry Curriculum Planning endorsement processes as to accredit external trainers as Inhouse trainers to augment NTU’s resource pool for CE instructors
- to ensure quality delivery of courses delivered via external online platforms

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of working experience, including at least 3 years of post PhD relevant experience and proven track record of curricula development, content creation, and the effective delivery of CE-related courses/programmes
- Working experience with Institute of Higher Learning/education/government sectors is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with ability to set priorities, complete work with mínimal supervision, and meet deadlines
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Proven track record in building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at various level
- Team player who demonstrates flexibility and embraces collaboration
- Good working knowledge of SAP Hana
