An exciting opportunity has arisen for a **Executive/Senior Executive, Product-Non Motor UW **in our Product-Non-Motor Department.

**Job Description**:
1. Underwriting
- Provide technical assessment, including conducting risk surveys where necessary.
- Rates, accepts, rejects or modifies new business within delegated authority levels and Company guidelines to achieve profitable business growth.

2. Client servicing
- Develops ongoing relationships with assigned producers to discuss and communicate on:

- Market trends and appetite, to promote the Property, Liability, Work Injury Compensation and General Accident classes of insurance.
- Underwriting issues including but not limited to decisions on cancellations, declinations, exposure concerns, and survey results.
- Assists Underwriting Manager to identify issues of concern and works to resolve or improve them. May identify sales and marketing opportunities in the process.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

- Minimum Bachelor Degree/ Professional Insurance qualification
- Must possess the Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent
- 5 years or more of relevant working experience in Commercial Lines insurance
- Actively pursuing professional insurance designations such as ACII/AAII or equivalent designation preferred
- Thorough knowledge of commercial lines product and contract language which includes regulatory and policy difference
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to work with multi-faceted systems
- Ability to effectively and independently manage workload while exhibiting good judgement
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships, and must also exemplify teamwork
