**Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Head of Operations is to implement efficient processes and standards, managing contracts and relations, and ensuring the business systems runs smoothly.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for leading and managing the AsiaNext operations team to support exchange listing, trading, settlement, clearing and custody operations, as well as managing and delivering change projects for digital assets and derivatives.
- Work with other departments of AsiaNext and vendors to build an exchange and custodial platform that supports institutional grade trading, clearing, settlement and custody requirements.
- Develop exchange and listing rules with management & Compliance, and implement OPS procedures to ensure monitoring and compliance eg Market Control and Market Surveillance on securities trading.
- Ensure full AM/CFT compliance in AsiaNext by establishing and managing the KYC onboarding OPs team in collaboration with Compliance.
- Train and develop OPS team and resources to be able to support 24/7 operations with robust procedures and KPIs, strong resiliency and back up.
- Execute AsiaNext implementation plan to go live within defined timeframe
- Develop and update the AsiaNext general operating manual with all the key processes and policies in collaboration with Compliance
- Provide high quality general services, including work environment, procurement, vendor mgmt.
- Oversee development and execution of marketing initiatives including website, branding, campaigns, promotional events
- Provide HR services in collaboration with external vendor
- Support where needed other AsiaNext functions, including IT, Information Security, Sales
- Be part of creating an entrepreneurial culture, built on customer focus, collaboration, ownership and trust

**Qualifications And Experience**
- Bachelor's Degree and above
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Operations in the banking / fintech / payments/e-commerce/trade financing industry
- Familiar with regulatory guidelines and procedures
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Keen interest to work in a start-up environment
- Great communication skills
