Key Responsibilities:
- Perform literature study, participate in and manage the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met.- Perform design of experiment, interpretation and analysis of data acquired. Prepare technical reports for the program PI and present data at regular group meetings.- Draft research publication. Drive own academic career development through networking and publication.- Ensure service and maintenance are carried out for the equipment in the lab. Annual review of risk assessment and safety protocol for equipment operation, gas, and chemical usage.- Engage and communicate with industry partners for deployment of innovative technologies/solutions.- Coordinate procurement and liaison with vendors/suppliers.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor or above in chemical engineering, Polymer Chemistry, Polymer physics, or a relevant field.- Deep fundamental knowledge in areas such as polymer chemistry and physics, formulations, analytical techniques, and bacteria- Strong analytical and conceptual abilities.- Ability to publish conference/journal papers.- Ability and willingness to train and advise students.- Regular reports and good documentation of work are expected.- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
