About the job**
Reporting to IT Infra & Operations Manager, this role plays an important part in delivering IT Network and Security infrastructure services that supports business growth and operational excellence with common operating model across the region incl. IKEA Stores, Shopping Centers and Services Office. The role is responsible for enhancing stability, scalability & performance of our IT network and security operations, design and projects at regional level while mitigating risks and ensuring standards, best practices and policies with business perspective.
**Your assignment**
- Lead the long-term planning, design and implementation of IT network (Local/Wide Area/ Wireless) at regional level with due diligence and considerations for the future needs of the organisation, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures in relation to network growth, security and upgrades on proactive basis.
- Analyse the benefits, costs, opportunities and risks associated with IT network operations and security infrastructure planning, and champion a balanced approach with a focus to support business growth, scalability, stability, high availability, operational functionality and capacity utilization with overall cost effectiveness.
- Develop and drive the IT enterprise grade IT network and security infrastructure roadmap and initiatives including standardization, modernization and common operating model across the region
- Work closely with IT Infra Admin Engineers to ensure effective measurement, monitoring, administration and operations with centralized delivery while reducing dependence on external vendors and develop our own internal competence
- Engage with business and project stakeholders to understand IT network & security related system requirements and support stakeholders on options, risks, business impacts and cost-benefits.
- Subject matter expert in IT network & security domains & technologies
- Cisco/ Checkpoint/ FortiGate/ Cloud network & security troubleshoot, manage information security framework, network policies and procedures and DR routines.
**Qualification**
Your profile**
- Passion and competence in IT Network and security technologies with preferred to have any of professional certification - CISCO CCNA/CCNP, Checkpoint (CCSA/CCSE), Fortinet (Network Security Expert), Azure Cloud
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise-grade design and documentation of IT network and security architecture using CISCO Networks, Checkpoint/Fortinet Firewall and Azure Cloud
- Experience in managing large scale regional projects from design to implementation in the area of Enterprise IT network and information security with proven results with high quality and business benefits.
- Highly conversant with various network components and info security vulnerability assessment & hardening frameworks
- Strong analytical skills in network troubleshooting and with ability to guide fault isolation, resolution and process improvement
- Service oriented and self-driven. Able to work with flexible hours and travel regionally.
