This role will give you the opportunity to be part of ASM Global Trade Compliance team that has the responsibilities to ensuring ASM global businesses are conducted in compliance with the various export control laws and regulations, sanctions and customs regulations. Therefore, you will actively participate in developing the trade compliance program and provide trade compliance guidance and operations support to ASM stakeholders. In this role, you will report to the Global Trade Compliance Senior Manager. This role falls under the Legal department. **Responsibilities** - Interacting regularly with and providing operational support and guidance on trade compliance, including the export control compliance matters to internal stakeholders - Tracking and managing proactively the orders blocks in SAP GTS system (focusing on China transactions) as the main responsibility for this role. - Developing and educating the internal clients on trade compliance best practices. - Performing the internal self-reviews to ensure trade compliance activities are executed properly. - Documenting procedures and work instructions. - Execute and monitor the export controls necessary to ensure compliance - Work cooperatively and proactively with functional leaders to ensure compliance with all relevant export, customs, sanctions, laws and regulations - Establish a strong relationship with the ASM employees to ensure cooperation and assistance in the successful implantation of export control related projects **Requirements**: - Minimum degree with at least 5 years of experience in trade compliance or export controls in an international environment - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in international trade compliance involving management of transaction orders to China from US export control regulations persepctive - Strong working knowledge of US Export Administration Regulation ("EAR") - Experience related to assigning the ECCN/HTS determination and supporting export control licensing requests is a plus. - Preferred experience in high-tech or semiconductor industry - Excellent communication and effective interpersonal skills - Attention to details and accurate in execution of any task - Ability to work autonomously, with mínimal direction, and self-motivated and results-driven - Ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams and international environment. - From the very start of the semiconductor industry to the present day, we’ve been technology leaders who have pioneered innovation and brought new processes into mainstream manufacturing.
