Overview

The

English Language and Literature (ELL) Department

**Requirements**:
Applicants should mínimally satisfy the following criteria:

- a PhD or EdD qualification in Technology and Language Learning from a university of good international standing _(applicants who are nearing completion of their doctoral studies will be considered but PhD/EdD must be in hand for the appointment)_- a track record of scientific research, presentations, and publications in Technology and Language Learning-
- Applicants with classroom-based research experience / interest are given preference.

Responsibilities- contribute to teaching and course development at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as related activities such as thesis supervision and examination, and supervision of teaching practice- obtain competitive research funding, develop a robust research agenda and maintain a strong publication record- undertake administrative roles and to contribute to other service-related activities at the department or institution level- establish partnerships with local and international researchers and practitioners to explore avenues for research and teaching that will create an impact in the discipline and/or educational practice.

If selected to proceed to the next round, they will be invited for a campus visit where they will be expected to present a job talk, and to conduct a lesson in their area of expertise for our students at NIE.
