**Working at Wintermute**

We are happy to offer a new opportunity to join our team as a DevOps engineer / counterparty integration specialist. This role combines technical aspects of automating and supporting large cross region trading platform providing 24/7 liquidity to external counterparties, with helping clients with technical queries, troubleshooting, checking log files, configuring connectivity. Like other jobs at Wintermute, this role is both very hands-on and provides the opportunity to learn more about market making, liquidity provision and improve python and other automation skills, while working close with traders and developers. You will report to CTO and be working closely with the development, trading, operations and business development teams.

**What you will work on**:

- Be the key client facing technical expert on Wintermute trading API and platforms, support integrations and help prioritise capabilities roadmap
- Provide end-to-end integration experience for existing and new counterparties
- Maintain ongoing communication with technical, middle office and business teams of our counterparties and OEMS partners
- Monitor counterparty trading activity / connectivity and proactively identify and resolve any issues
- Automate internal processes like onboarding, reporting, support tools, etc.
- Develop efficient digital communication channels with counterparties and partners to provide updates on product

**Hard Skills requirements**:

- Relevant experience working in a financial services company, trading software provider or technical consultancy
- Ability to produce and communicate technical documentation
- Understanding of basics of networking and how to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Basic scripting and Python experience
- Strong communication skills - with technical and business audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

**Nice to have skills**:

- Experience with FIX protocol and various REST APIs is desired, but can be learned while working.
- Understanding of basic AWS configuration concepts.
- You are determined, ambitious yet humble, willing to work hard and learn on the way
- You like meritocracy and being judged by what you deliver
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset versus 9-to-5 mentality
- You are prepared to work non-standard working hours (since we are a high-growth startup operating in the 24/7 crypto world)
