As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor peers, influence quality engineering best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Test Automation Design and Development**
- Design and develop scalable and maintainable automated test frameworks for UI, API, and backend components.
Build end-to-end test scenarios using tools like Selenium, Postman, Cucumber.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- **Test Strategy and Planning**
- Define test strategies that align with product and release goals.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to review requirements.
- and identify test scenarios.
- Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, performance, and load testing.
- **Quality Ownership**
- Identify, document, and track bugs/defects through defect lifecycle tools like Atlassian tools JIRA.
- Drive root cause analysis for production bugs and ensure test coverage is updated.
- **Continuous Improvement**
- Mentor junior QA engineers and share knowledge of best practices in test automation.
- Recommend improvements in development and testing processes for higher product quality.
- Conduct code reviews for test automation scripts.
- **Reporting and Metrics**
- Create and maintain dashboards/reports to track test coverage, execution results, and quality KPIs.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- **Performance Testing**

**_Experience and Education: _**
- 8-10 years of Experience in Quality Automation Testing.
- Bachelors Degree
- Hands-on in UI, API, backend automation (Selenium, Postman, Cucumber)
- CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Strong in test strategy, defect tracking (JIRA), and root cause analysis
- Skilled in performance testing using JMeter
Basic knowledge of Linux, virtualization, SQL/NoSQL, Kubernetes, and networking (TCP/IP).
- Able to mentor, review code, and improve QA practice
