JR43505 Equipment Technician

Equipment Technicians are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment in their assigned area, while working in partnership with Shift Operations team members, area equipment engineers and tool vendors. Equipment Technicians monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to repair equipment issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform preventive maintenance on machines.
- Support production by performing troubleshooting and repair work on machine, minimizing equipment downtime.
- Support conversions to run different product mix.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects/activities to improve overall performance of machines and cost reduction.
- Support new equipment installation as the need arises.
- Support major periodic maintenance activities(SPM/APM) as the need arises.
- Required to work in cleanroom environment.

**Requirements**:

- Possess a Diploma in Engineering
- At least 1 year of experience in semiconductor industry.
- Can communicate in English, driven and machine troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work in 12hr rotating shift pattern.
