**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the communications team to develop and execute creative ideas and meaningful visuals that tell the brand story across various print and digital collateral according to branding and typography guidelines.
- Support store operations by producing signages, labels and menus in a timely fashion.
- Image-making for marketing campaigns, store programmes, key initiatives and other print & digital assets.
- Preparing FA files and liaising with printers and suppliers.
- Take a hands-on approach to creating packaging, store signages and special projects.
- Work cross-functionally to help with sourcing and finding design solutions that align with the branding guidelines.
- Maintain archive of press mentions and in-house graphic design work.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant qualifications preferred, but not necessary - fresh graduates are welcome.
- Must have a ready portfolio to present.
- Good graphic design skills necessary; illustration and photography skills or experience would be a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Meticulous with an attention to detail.
- Resourcefulness.
- Added bonus if you're good with your hands and have crafting or mock-up experience.
- Work well under pressure and able to meet deadlines without compromising on quality.

Plain Vanilla Bakery it started out with a simple, earnest ambition to create and share some good old-fashioned cake with our local community; cake that was made with real wholesome ingredients, and was familiar and comforting. In a world of mass-produced confections, we wanted to go back to basics and bake like our mums and grandmothers used to - moist red velvet cupcakes topped with vanilla buttercream, apple pound cake drizzled with caramel, decadent chocolate brownies, warm and fudgey on the inside. The kind of scents, flavours, and textures that make us nostalgic for days gone by.
