**About our group**:
The sputter process group is part of the larger process group in the Recording Media Organization in Seagate responsible for producing media for Seagate HDD

**About the role - you will**:

- Work with management to identify new process improvement opportunities in the areas of quality, cost, performance, and preventive and predictive maintenance
- Evaluate and analyze current process metrics and performance to identify areas requiring improvements
- Analyze and identify opportunities to reduce process variation, improve process capabilities and optimize process performance
- Develop process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and productivity
- Facilitate the deployment of new and changed processes to provide improved results
- Train and guide resources for shift process and manufacturing assistants
- Work with various teams to reduce process variations
- Assist Managers in management for capital projects
- Prepare project presentations for management when needed
- Review and update business procedures and documents based on project requirements

**About you**:

- Strong in process control knowledge
- A team player who can work with various teams across different work functions
- Enthusiastic and curious about improving and sustaining the media sputter KPOVs

**Your experience includes**:

- Sputter process or thin film process knowledge
- Datamining
- Software skills: Microsoft office. Programming knowledge is a plus

**Location**:
Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass-transportation to work. Ample free on-site parking is also available.
