**About the job**: The primary focus of the Product/Application Specialist role is to expand the sales network within (but not limited to) the biopharmaceutical and life sciences markets. This involves planning and executing sales and marketing activities to achieve sales targets. Additionally, this role is essential for supporting business development and expanding the product portfolio, positioning Beacon Sciences as a leading distributor in the field of Analytical Science. **Responsibilities**: **Sales and Business Development**: - Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical, biopharma and life sciences sectors. - Develop relationships with existing and prospective clients in the biopharmaceutical industry, engaging them to learn about our product suite and maintaining long-term business relationships. - Increase the number of accounts across an assigned territory - Achieve sales targets through effective product positioning and value proposition communication. - Collaborate with the marketing team to drive product promotions, generate leads, and support digital marketing efforts. **Product Knowledge**: - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our range of equipment, products, test kits and solutions. **Client Management**: - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and providing technical support as needed. - Promptly attending to customers’ problems, complaints or requests. - Collaborate with the technical support team to ensure client satisfaction and resolve issues promptly. **Market Analysis**: - Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and threats and provide feedback to the management team. - Analyze customer needs and market trends to tailor sales strategies accordingly. - Forecasts, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor's or Diploma degree in a relevant field (e.g., Bioprocess, Biotechnology, Life Sciences). - 1 - 3 years of sales experience.
