**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. System Installation & Assembly**:

- Install, align, and secure mechanical and electrical systems, including: Piping systems (e.g., water supply, drainage, and compressed air lines).
HVAC systems (ducting, chillers, cooling towers).
Electrical conduits, switchgear, and control panels.
- Ensure all installations meet project drawings, specifications, and NEA compliance standards.
- Fabricate and assemble mechanical components and supports, ensuring structural integrity.

**2. Testing & Commissioning Support**:

- Assist engineers and supervisors in system testing and commissioning.
- Conduct leak tests, insulation checks, and operational verifications for both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Identify and rectify installation defects to ensure seamless system performance.

**3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting**:

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical and electrical equipment during the project lifecycle.
- Diagnose faults using tools such as multimeters, pressure gauges, and alignment instruments.

**4. Site Coordination & Reporting**:

- Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and task integration.
- Monitor material usage, ensure the availability of spare parts, and report shortages to the procurement team.
- Maintain detailed records of completed work, materials used, and challenges faced.

**5. Safety & Compliance**:

- Adhere to NEA regulations, site-specific safety protocols, and risk management policies.
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards related to waste management, emissions, and resource conservation.
- Conduct daily tool and equipment inspections to maintain operational safety.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**:NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant engineering disciplines.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in M&E fitting, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Proficient in working with specialized tools (e.g., pipe threaders, TIG/MIG welding equipment).
- **Skills**:Ability to interpret complex M&E blueprints and technical specifications.
Knowledge of NEA environmental compliance requirements.
Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- **Certifications**:WSQ Safety Orientation Course for Workers.
Certifications in welding, plumbing, or electrical installation are advantageous.

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Familiarity with environmental management protocols in NEA projects.
- Team player with effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and contractors.
- Physically fit and adaptable to demanding site conditions.
