If you have this type of passion, we invite you to take a look at the opportunities available to come join our team. **PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER 2** **THE ROLE**: We are looking for a motivated, collaborative, and creative individual to join our rapidly growing and high-performing engineering test lab team. You will have the opportunity to drive innovative technology solutions from concept to implementation for test floor operation efficiency and productivity improvements, so as to on-time deliver high quality AMD product samples and meet 100% internal and external customer satisfactory. You will be partnering cross-functionally with a technically strong, experienced, and highly engaged team. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Analyze and identify opportunity for continuous improvements for engineering lab in Operation Efficiency, Data Management, Inventory Management and Test Floor Automation. - Provide in-depth technical assistance and resolution to help resolve above process related issues. - Lead and collaborate with both internal or external developers to identify, define, and resolve developmental problems. - Develops experimental strategy and presents technical data and recommendations. - Works cross functional, include Shift supervisors, North American engineering lab team, to lead, own, develop, & deliver capable and robust processes and system to operations across different shift and global locations - (Snr Engineer) Able to provide supervisory role for technical staff - (Snr Engineer) Actively provide assistance and support engineers to achieve business goals and personal development. **PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**: - Industry related experience (internships, co-ops also acceptable) - Good knowledge of IC Technologies and understanding of semiconductor testing - Demonstrated understanding and usage of statistics and data to drive improvements. - Good knowledge on software and database development, middleware technology, software architecture and computer infrastructure (servers, networks, storage) - Inventory Automation, Test Floor or Factory Automation, IoT devices or other regulated industry experience are highly desired. - Strong process automation aptitude. - Excel in project management include review of coordinate project meetings, capital cost estimate, lead scoping studies managing scope, schedule and budget. - Knowledge of VBA, MS Office and other programming - Excels in a collaborative, cross-site and global environment. - Demonstrated cross functional teamwork in technical environment - Independently contacts clients, contractor representatives and project field personnel to gather or give information - Independent, resourceful and takes initiative **ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS**: - Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical /Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with preferred 0-4 relevant years of experience.
