**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- After installations coordinating maintenance and repair services by training and guiding engineers and technicians
- Setup and review SPC, FDC, machine control and other statistical analysis tools to help optimizing equipment robustness.
- Follow up on 8D, ECN and MRB documentation
- Sustain equipment KPI and implement equipment improvement projects to improve equipment efficiency, cost reduction and reliability of equipment
- Lead internal or cross-functional team in machine improvement
- Project management on new equipment start-up to support production, from facilities hookup, vendor startup, to acceptance of equipment for production
- Forecast financial budgets for equipment expenditures and track to monitor expenditures
- Provide feedback / training and coaching to Engineers and Technicians on their troubleshooting skills, equipment knowledge, decision making, risks assessment & PM
- Establish systems/guidance in sustenance and improvement of all equipment performance indices to exceed/meet operations goals
- Initiate meeting with process and manufacturing to ensure work is carried out efficiently to meet objectives

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical / Technology or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- At least 5~7 year of experience in the semiconductor wafer manufacturing industry with PVD and Dry Etch Tools especially ASM, Samco & SPTS
- Ability to travel for 20% of the time for machine buyoff (if applicable).
- Excellent engineering skills like machine adjustment, technical drawing to conceptualize new idea for equipment.
- Good designing skills to constantly improve re-design and invent equipment.
- Inquisitive and a logical mind with sharp decision-making skills to make connections between problem and ideas.
- Expert in semiconductor wafer fabrication process knowledge
- Good Project & Vendor management skills
- Good Team Player
- Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving skills
- SPC and DOE knowledge
