Our client is the leading beverage company in Singapore and was established in 1977 by its parent company in Japan. They have carved a strong niche in the RTD beverage market with healthy and innovative beverages made from authentic ingredients. They are actively looking to hire an Assistant Supply and Demand Manager who'd also align in their goals and values as it will enable them to access a wider audience through their well-established distribution network.

**The Responsibilities**:

- Lead and conduct Monthly S&OP with management, drives S&OP maturity improvement and financial alignment
- Provides guidance and leadership on pre-S&OP at SKU level across few businesses - Singapore,
- Malaysia, Agency, International
- Possess know-how in supply and demand planning, demand analytics, inventory management, planning processes, and technology adoption
- Responsible to achieve consensus demand with sales & marketing, supply sufficiency with the right balance of inventory with production planner/replenishment, high customer order fulfilment
- Points of escalation on overall Supply and Demand serviceability to the commercial team, and lead work-around with SC team / MFG to resolve issues
- Spearheading issues / problem-solving cross-functionally to remove obstacles to improve serviceability
- Accountable to Inventory management - aging, slow-moving, obsolete, new launch, promotion
- Deliver both Cost and SC operational KPIs jointly - Service Level Agreements (SLAs), inventory
- An effective manager, communicator, and team player to work cross-functionally - lateral and horizontal
- Subject Matter Expert in Planning. Ability to lead and implement planning process/technology change and adopt changes easily

Responsible for sales forecasting process across markets (Singapore, Malaysia, Export Markets):

- Lead and conduct Monthly S&OP with management
- Responsible for the forecasting and demand planning for the relevant markets monthly
- Develop effective forecast models based on sales trends and demand patterns and effectively
- communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and facilitate monthly forecasting process with respective markets, channels and/or banners' representative
- Using trend analysis and other forecast techniques to assess the demand risk or opportunities
- associated with commercial and supply chain
- Ensure appropriate adjustments are done across markets based on sales trends, especially for new product launches
- Identify gaps and opportunities for forecast improvement and understand business processes and needs
- Consolidate and submit the monthly forecast to supply chain for master production scheduling (MPS)
- Identify and participate across the value chain and provide inputs and solutions to generate adequate and accurate forecasts
- Address demand and supply related issues in a timely and effective manner

Analyse root causes of forecast error (Singapore, Malaysia, International):

- Prepare and update accuracy files with previous month's sales, and analyse root causes of forecast errors to mitigate stock-out or over-stocking situations
- Discussion and align with sales and marketing on forecast errors and adjustments to demand forecast
- Reconcile demand and supply with their impact on inventory, working to optimise inventory coverages

Ensure supply meets demand (Singapore, Malaysia, International):

- Incorporate production plans from different factories into replenishment plan; timely update and monitoring of production schedules and current inventory to ensure supply meets demand
- Analyse, plan, and influence SCM MPS (master production schedule) for finished goods to be produced at the right time right quantity according to factories' ability to fulfil the demand
- Implemented the design in parameterization of demand and supply planning to provide accurate
- information for optimal planning
- Lead and design and develop solutions that bridge the gap between the planning business teams with limited resources

Analyse slow moving & obsolescence stocks (Singapore, Malaysia, International):

- Identify and report the defined excess and slow-moving stocks; evaluate the risk of stocks could become obsolete
- Lead the identified excess inventory and developed a sales plan jointly with commercial team to liquidate the inventory
- Portfolio review to SKU Rationalisation (Singapore, Malaysia, International):

- Gather relevant data at PK group level

**The Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or any related degree
- Minimum 8 years' experience in Planning, Supply Chain, Supply Chain analytics
- Subject Matter Expert in S&OP / IBP, demand forecasting, demand & supply balancing
