We require a Counsellor to provide counselling services for a government agency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide professional counseling services to adults, including individual and/or group sessions.
- Provide counselling in a competent, effective, and ethical manner to improve clients’ mental and social well-being and quality of life.
- Work with clients presenting with a wide spectrum of mental health, relationship, and other issues.
- Develop and facilitate group sessions, talks, and activities focusing on transitional issues, mental health concerns, and effective coping strategies.
- Ensure accurate documentation of cases, statistical data, and case reports for review.
- Providing regular updates on the progress of those who are receiving counseling services.
- Adhere to the organisation’s service standards for counselling practice and the professional code of ethics and conduct for counsellors.
- Support other organisational activities, duties and projects as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Psychology/Counselling/Social Science
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of counselling experience
- Registered with recognized professional body e.g Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC)
- Possess positive intrapersonal traits and attributes.
- Possess effective interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently as well as contribute as part of a team.
