We are looking for a Regional Senior Media Manager to shape and execute effective marketing campaigns. Your job will be to identify the right media strategy for regional/national local campaigns, having a media plan as an output to help markets to amplify the campaign to deliver our goals. The scope encompasses end to end process from setting the strategy, roll out & planning the media with each market, monitor & optimize and evaluation.
In this role, you will be acting as a media expert who helps setting the right media process for the campaign, leading the media agency selecting process which includes creating the right criteria/metrics to help identify the right agency. Additionally, you will help guide and build the right capabilities for the local marketing teams.
To succeed in this role, you should be a skilled communicator and decision-maker who can collaborate well with various teams internally. You will work closely with each function at the regional level such as paid digital performance, SEO, PR teams as they act as consultants for their expertise area to your media plan. Additionally, you have to work collaboratively and be able to drive the execution with each market to land your strategy in order to drive the expected outcome.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collecting and analyzing information on different media channels, media tools, and providing media insights which help inform media strategies.
- Thinking creatively and designing appropriate strategies to make sure the campaign reaches their target audience in the most effective way possible and deliver the set KPIs i.e attract and retain customers, increase the brand awareness and TOM.
- Consult with both internal (digital, PR, communications, enablement) or external parties when needed to ensure the strong media recommendation and KPI for each campaign.
- Come up with practical media performance metrics for different types of marketing campaigns to look for optimization solutions and continuous exploring of local media channels to further drive media efficiency.
- Leading regional media toolkit for regional marketing campaigns and roll out to the market.
- Ensuring the effective media plan, right investment and KPIs are set for each campaign for each market before the campaign launch.
- Creating the process/template to help keep track of the campaign performance.
- Monitoring and optimizing the investment during the campaign to ensure it is on track to deliver the KPIs.
- Able to provide clear direction and pivot the plan quickly when required i.e operation disruption.
- Ensuring team discipline on sharing campaign evaluation, able to identify what works and what’s not and able to recommend the ways forward for the future campaigns.
- Identify the right approach/media tools/research to measure media KPIs.
- Being a media expert as part of Regional Branding COEs who are able to deliver what is required for the work today and develop the capabilities for the marketing team for the future.
- Leading the media agency selecting process and developing the right criteria/metrics.
- Keep the team up to date on media trends and how that impacts the way we drive marketing campaigns.
- Leading the best practice sharing across markets or case studies from external parties.
**Requirements**:
- At least 5-7 years’ experience working in a strategic media planning capacity within agency settings with great experienced working on
- Brand planning (who - audience segmentation, insight identification)
- Comms planning (where we reach them - channel planning, architecture, platform recommendations etc.)
- Customer Journeys (how they will progress through our communications
- Content plans (what they will see on the journey)
- Good industry knowledge across traditional and digital channels, strategic and conceptual development of brand marketing, industry & consumer trends would be beneficial.
- Proven experience as a Media Planner, need to have sufficient digital capabilities
- Familiarity with campaign evaluation metrics and media buying
- Experienced in working with SEA markets and knowing the media landscape are
