Senior UX Developer

**Your Job**:
UX Developers at Indeed serve a critical role in translating designs into production-quality code, bridging the Design and Engineering disciplines.

Working within a cross-functional team, UX Developers help to build accessible user interfaces for Indeed products; create fast, scalable, and maintainable systems; define best practices for UI development; and contribute to design ideation and decision making.

The International team is focused on expanding and improving Indeed's presence in high-potential markets across the globe, by scaling internal system capabilities to meet market-specific user needs, while also identifying opportunities to enhance the UI and overall user experience.

**Who You Are**:
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

- The ability to communicate clearly in both spoken and written English
- 5+ years of relevant programming experience
- Experience working closely with Designers and Engineers
- Working knowledge of design tools, such as Figma (mainly just for exporting assets)
- Experience developing reusable, scalable UI components
- Strong problem-solving skills
- React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Good knowledge of styling (SCSS, CSS-in-JS, flexbox, grid etc.)
- An understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Familiarity with usability testing
- Experience following industry standard best practices when building UI, including accessibility, internationalisation, performance optimization, caching, cross-browser considerations, responsive web design etc.

**Salary Range Disclaimer**:
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

**Salary Range Transparency**:
Singapore 157,000 - 227,000 SGD per year
