**What you will do**:
- Provide practical compliance advice to the Group, covering business activities across different entities and units, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal requirements.
- Participate in the inception and implementation of cross-functional solutions/products, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations and internal standards.
- Regularly review, revise, and set up compliance manuals, policies, procedures, frameworks, and systems to stay current with regulatory changes and requirements.
- Handle regulatory and licensing requests and inquiries efficiently and effectively, ensuring timely and proper responses.
- Own and lead the compliance aspects of KYC/AML/CFT processes, providing secondary validation and approval for customer onboarding.
- Assist and advise senior management on compliance matters, including regulatory and licensing issues, AML/CFT, and internal control processes.
- Grow and lead compliance team members; provide guidance and mentorship on compliance matters.
- Promote compliance awareness through regular training sessions and dialogue with employees.
- Perform additional assignments as required to support the compliance function.
**Requirements**:
**What we are looking for**:
- 10+ years of compliance experience in the financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in fintech, digital lending, and payments, particularly within Southeast Asia.
- Solid knowledge of Asean regulations, market practices, and financial products
- In-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape for financial services and fintech in Southeast Asia, including but not limited to AML, KYC, data privacy, and consumer protection regulations.
- Experience liaising with regulatory bodies and managing regulatory inspections and audits.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex regulatory requirements to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and developing high-performing compliance teams.
- High ethical standards and integrity; Strong attention to details and organisational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CAMS) is preferred.
