Business Development Executive

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to promote the company’s logistics services, including freight forwarding, contract logistics, and supply chain solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their logistics requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure service quality and SOPs align with customer expectations, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with suppliers and 3PL partners to develop competitive solutions and maximize profit margins.
- Liaise with internal Dimerco units to jointly develop and promote Contract Logistics offerings to targeted customer segments.
- Monitor and ensure customer quotations remain valid; maintain and update pricing tables in the system while ensuring billing compliance.
- Manage customer contract validity and ensure timely uploading and maintenance in internal systems.
- Track customer spending against agreed budgets and prepare costing or variance reports as required.
- Coordinate onboarding of new customer projects and ensure a smooth handover to the operations team.
- Maintain and periodically update the customer database to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
- Follow company policies on credit and contract management, selecting qualified customers and jointly managing account receivables.
- Leverage internal systems such as Value+ and eWMS to manage client data, monitor performance, and support customer needs.
- Perform other duties or assignments as directed by management.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in logistics sales or business development.
- Solid knowledge of transportation and warehousing operations, and added advantages of freight forwarding (air and sea).
- Fluency in Mandarin is required to effectively liaise with Chinese stakeholders and Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
