Job Requirements

Success in this role is dependent on maintaining profitability and driving sustainable growth working closely with the Business Development/Partnership Optimization teams.

As a key member of our Regional consumer lines portfolio management team, you will work with the Regional underwriting team to create and execute portfolio management plans and provide actuarial support to senior management for our Leisure Travel portfolio. You will be responsible for management support related to actuarial, pricing, product development, portfolio management and revenue maximization strategies and tactics.

You will also provide best in class actuarial guidance to the local teams and coaching, best practices, and process improvements advice as well as thought leadership. Your ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders across all levels of our business will be critical to your success.

**Responsibilities**:
Conduct detailed analysis across the portfolio to make pricing recommendations and to track the results of any campaigns, tests or experiments that have been executed.
Support the portfolio review process to identify pricing/underwriting actions to enhance profitability and competitiveness.
Ensure dashboards are kept up to date, recommend improvements and support the business to interpret data within the dashboards.
Work with the Regional Partnerships Optimization Manager to design price tests and experiments that aim to deliver more value to both Chubb and our partners.
Support the Regional Partnerships Optimization Manager to define pricing implementation plans for each key partnership and deliver against agreed timelines.
Enhance quality of data and processing efficiency to meet expanding business needs.
For large case referrals, provide actuarial support, analysis, and recommendations in terms of pricing, loss estimation, and peer review of the P&L.
Support the Travel underwriter in Account Management and liaise regularly with Home Office about the progress made and Corrective Actions proposed and implemented.
Work together with the Regional Underwriting team to review, according to the approved schedule, the official list of large accounts across the Region, and recommend and implement corrective actions on those cases that require improvement.
Provide actuarial support and analysis on revenue maximization by working closely with our business partners and internal stakeholders.
Provide actuarial support and analysis on developing new product ideas and pricing the products, and set up post-launch monitoring tools.
Participate in the Monthly Calls and Quarterly Reviews with Home Office staff, prepare regular reports for the Chief Underwriter, and coordinate the information that is regularly sent to Home Office.

Work Experience

**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial/Stats/Mathematics
Strong understanding of insurance industry
Experience in A&H Products/Business within the actuarial space
Pricing and underwriting A&H accounts in a multinational environment
Advanced knowledge of SAS and EMBLEM
Experience in actuarial pricing or reserving
Proven record of working effectively in a highly matrixed organization across all levels of an organization
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills, honed in a demanding and high performing work environment
Open and strong communication, excellence in execution, innovative thinking, an inclusive mind-set
