**Job description**
- Reports directly to a Head of the M&E department and the PD/PM.
- Tasked to use software tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to plan and schedule to monitor ongoing projects and programs.
- Assist projects and tender bids with Primavera scheduling work for baseline programme
- Drives the overall execution of projects based on project requirements, and reviews mechanical and/or electrical system designs, specifications, calculations, and other submittals.
- Oversees the project assessment phases and ensures the mechanical and/or electrical systems designs, and models developed are in accordance with project requirements.
- Resource loading, and optimisation of the schedule.
- Capturing the current status and continuous progress updating.
- Production of extracts from the time schedule for internal and external reporting.
- Arranging, preparing, moderating, and documentation of regularly scheduled meetings.
- Continuous monitoring of the time schedule for potentially critical situations/deviations.
- Recognising and highlighting delivery (time) conflicts.
- Preparation of decision proposals.
- Other ad-hoc duties by Management are assigned from time to time.

**Job requirements**
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction projects
- Hands-on experience with Primavera for (3 - 5 years experience)
- Well versed in critical path method (CPM), lean scheduling, planning and risk mitigation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Sound understanding of work execution in relation to methodology, timeframes, productivity
- An expert in mechanical and/or electrical engineering fields, and possesses strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
