The product verification group is seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer to join the exciting career on creating innovative Firmware solutions to test the state-of-the-art 7nm FPGA products and beyond. You will have the opportunity to work on complex MPSoC (Multi-Processor System on Chip) FPGAs with multiple advanced ARM/Microblaze processor cores, DDR memory, high-speed communication interfaces, programmable logic and more. Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Define and prototype innovative firmware-driven test strategies/methodologies to meet all the product quality, test cost, and diagnosability requirements of complex MPSoC FPGA products
- Debug complex firmware related pattern issues to root cause the problem within short TAT, by working closely with architecture, IC design, FPGA firmware/software, verification & characterization, product test, and PQE/FA teams, to meet the product release schedule
- Develop cost-effective firmware solutions to support value added services to both internal and external customers
- Drive continual improvement projects on test cost reduction, diagnosis capability enhancement, and quicker stabilization of robust manufacturing test patterns in Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) test environments

**Job Requirements**:

- Master’s Degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering / IC Design or equivalent with minimum 8 years of industrial experience in the domain of FPGAs/SOCs
- Strong hands-on experience in pre-silicon validation through simulation and post-silicon debug using bench equipment on SOC products
- Solid knowledge of both functional and structural test methodologies/concepts is highly desirable
- Familiar with the FPGA architecture and good knowledge of AXI/APB protocols will also have added advantage
- Good hands-on experience in Verilog RTL design using FPGA is a plus
- Solid understanding of semiconductor fundamentals, digital electronics, and failure analysis techniques
- Comfortable in Linux environment and scripting languages such as Perl and Tcl
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, good organizational skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize and track many activities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, and able to work well in a team environment that spans across continents
