Roles & Responsibilities
- Plans, assigns and supervise the work operation, maintenance where applicable.
- Responsible for developing maintaining and instituting operating and emergency procedures.
- Makes daily inspection of plant machinery and equipment, inspects ongoing activities for safety and environmental compliance and for adherence to standard operation procedures.
- Reviews and approves maintenance work request in conjunction with the Plants Operators and supervisors and coordinators plants operation and maintenance schedules.
- Reviews and interprets operation data and makes appropriate changes in procedures to ensure continuous and efficient operation and maintenance.
- Responsible for implementing an effective training program that ensures that employees meet minimum requirements of job classification and are adequately prepared to assume all responsibilities of their assigned position.
- Select, supervise, trains, develops and evaluates performance of maintenance staff.
- Prepares work orders indicating malfunctions of instruments and authorizes work order request. Requisition new parts and instruments. Plans and supervises repair and maintenance during major outages
- Provides guidance and direction to facility staff members
- Responsible for maintaining acceptable plant morale
- Develops operation performance and productivity goals in conjunction with the Facility Manager via the annual business plan and continuously strives to improves performance
- Ensures that the facility and all personnel operate safely at all times and promotes environment whereby safety is a priority.

Job Requirements:

- Three years or more previous experience in comparable role in an administrative support or business support role is required
- Bachelors or Associates degree or Diploma in a technical field or equivalent desirable
- Any experience in working in an incineration plant environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role would be a major advantage
- Knowledge and understanding of the operation maintenance and control of boiler and steam plant.

**Salary**: $4,500.00 - $6,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
