**Vice President**,** for Energy & Power Specialty

- We are seeking someone who has established themselves within the insurance industry, ideally with a strong bias from one of the following; Power, Energy, Property or Construction Lines.
**We will count on you to**:
- Identifying clients or prospects risks needs, determining the services, products and combinations that will best serve and address the client/prospect’s issues and objectives
- Effectively developing customised solutions to address the client/prospect needs
- Conduct client business meetings
- Effectively presenting the solutions to the client/prospect
- Negotiate with reinsurers to obtain the best solution to meet client’s needs
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with reinsurers, to understand their needs and see how we are tailor program structure that provides the optimal outcome for reinsurers
- Participate in new business initiatives
- Work with follow team members to achieve common objective for the team & client
- Coaching & developing the talent of less experienced team members
- Overseeing quality of deliverables and enforcing deadlines on respective accounts where required
- Develop excellent relationship with reinsurers
- Manage challenging situations with both clients and underwriters.
**What you need to have**:
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in broking and/or reinsurance field.
- Have Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent or complete CGI within reasonable period upon employment.
- Relevant specialty experience is not required.

- Good communication and written skills in English.
- Highly motivated and a team player with good interpersonal skills while concurrently being able to work proactively and work independently where required.
