Growth and Development Manager

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join us on the journey to drive the growth and development of DBCS through executing the chamber’s mission and its initiatives, with Singapore Good Design (SG Mark) as the key focus, alongside Singapore Design Awards and DBCS Circle events with members and external partners.

**Our Key Programmes**
SG Mark was established to set the benchmark for exceptional design quality that impacts businesses and communities in Singapore and beyond. With plans to grow the Mark into an internationally recognised brand that affirms good design practices and advances design as an enabler for innovation, this role will involve executing a robust growth in local and regional markets, as well as understanding and building on key value propositions for the Mark and design community.

DBCS Circle brings design professionals, business entities and the student community together to connect, communicate and collaborate for success. Through our membership, we want to open doors to networking opportunities within the design community and strengthen business connections among members to learn, share and build lasting professional relationships together. We aim to be the represented voice for this multidisciplinary community to champion initiatives and best practices to enrich our design and business ecosystem.

**JOB REQUIREMENT**
- A strong interest in the design industry and desire to expand its influence for better business and social good by design.
- Willingness to gain knowledge of design in multi disciplines.
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business or Marketing with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in business development role, marketing, sales, or lead generation preferred.
- High critical thinking, EQ and communication skills.
- Well organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Resourceful with a positive working attitude and initiative.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through

**Responsibilities**:

- Build the DBCS brand, SG Mark, Singapore Design Awards and DBCS Circle by formulating and driving effective brand recognition, along with growth strategies to increase awareness of the chamber and initiatives both locally and overseas.
- Manage partnerships with key stakeholders and service providers in the process of executing growth initiatives.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in lead generation campaigns and track ROI.
- Develop processes and systems to streamline lead generation activities.
- Manage the expansion of awards into regional markets with emphasis on China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
- Develop insights and strategic perspectives on new opportunities, driving the analysis, presenting the results, and collaborating with the rest of the team to develop action plans.
- Work closely with the in-house marketing and design team to create and drive marketing campaigns.
- Other duties include supporting events coordination, taking minutes of meetings, schedule meetings etc.
- Complete all other ad-hoc duties assigned.
