Singapore Y3 TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD Full time

**1. Roles and Responsibilities**

1.1. Monitor Network devices using Centralized Network Monitoring System.

1.2. Report to Senior Network Engineers in case of alerts or performance degradation.

1.3. Manage Infrastructure Servicedesk tickets.

1.4. Support company daily IT Operations.

1.5. Work on smaller Wi-Fi and Network projects, work with WIFI heat mapping systems to create a heat map and plan for cabling and network designing with the help of senior staffs.

1.6. Alert Senior Network Engineers on network resources utilization based on monitoring tool reports.

1.7. First level troubleshooting on network and wireless infrastructure includes Wi-Fi Signal issues, VPN connectivity issues, Network port issues etc.,

1.8. First level contact point for Network vendors.

1.9. Analyze and Alert senior network engineers on Firmware outdated devices and EOSL notifications from vendors.

1.10. Support to setup network for new projects working along with Senior Network Engineers or Infrastructure Manager.

**2. **Requirements**

2.2 Exposure or Theoretical knowledge on IT security domains is preferred; this includes a good understanding of

2.3 Theoretical understanding of TCP/IP Model, Wireless components and network hardware components such as routers, switches etc.,

2.4 Exposure or understanding or Theoretical knowledge on anti-virus software, Intrusion Detection, Next-Gen UTM Firewall and content filtering is preferred.

2.5 Exposure or understanding or Theoretical Knowledge on Network services such as DHCP, DNS, WINS, Core Active Directory, Windows Deployment Services is preferred.

2.6 Hands on experience in usage of GNS3 network simulator is preferred.

2.7 Basic knowledge on Networking vendors such as Cisco, HPE, Dell, Aruba, Meraki and their product offerings is preferable.

2.8 Basic exposure or Theoretical knowledge on ISP link types such as Metro-Ethernet, DIA, Broadband, Mobile Broadband is preferred.

2.9 Basic exposure or theoretical knowledge on cloud services such as O365 / M365 / Cloudflare / Azure is preferred/

2.10 Hands on experience in Linux computers and commands is preferred.

2.11 Professional certifications: Not required, but preferable if including but not limited to CCNA, NSE4, CWNA.

2.12 Strong Interpersonal skills | EQ is preferable.
